About Brainfish AI
Brainfish AI builds Ballet, the agent operations platform that lets teams design, deploy, and monitor AI agents across their support stack.
What Ballet does with Zendesk
Ballet connects to your Zendesk Support instance to:
- Read and resolve tickets — AI agents triage, respond to, and close tickets based on your playbooks.
- Add context to tickets — agents pull in requester and assignee details so every ticket carries the context needed to resolve issues faster.
- Manage webhooks — Ballet provisions Zendesk webhooks so ticket events flow into your agent workflows in real time.
Ballet lives in its own product — there is nothing to install inside Zendesk. Once you connect your Zendesk account via OAuth in Ballet, your agents can start working with tickets immediately.
Data we access
Ballet accesses only the Zendesk data required for the workflows you enable, and only after you authorise it through Zendesk's OAuth consent screen. You control which scopes are granted and can revoke access at any time from your Zendesk admin settings.
Today Ballet requests these granular OAuth scopes:
tickets:read/tickets:write— read and update Support tickets.users:read— read user profiles for ticket context.webhooks:read/webhooks:write— create and manage inbound webhooks.
As you enable additional workflows, Ballet may request further granular scopes — always shown to you on the Zendesk consent screen before access is granted. Ballet follows the principle of least privilege and requests only the scopes your enabled workflows require.
Ticket and user data is processed in real time to operate your agents and retained only as long as needed for that purpose, in line with the Brainfish AI Privacy Policy.
