About this app

Keep internal notes moving with the ticket

Auto Internal Note gives agents a rich-text workspace in the ticket sidebar for drafting internal context while they work. When the ticket status changes or the ticket is saved, the app waits briefly, posts the content as a private internal note, and clears the editor after a successful post.

Highlights

  • Rich formatting: headings, code blocks, quotes, font sizes, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, superscript, subscript, text color, highlight, lists, alignment, indentation, horizontal rules, undo, redo, and remove formatting.

  • Paste text, HTML, and screenshots directly into the editor.

  • Insert links with a destination URL and a shorter display label.

  • Clear status feedback for posting, success, empty content, and errors.

  • Works in the ticket sidebar and new-ticket sidebar.

Data access and privacy

The app reads the current ticket context supplied by Zendesk and sends only the editor content to the Zendesk ticket API to create a private internal comment. It does not use an external server, does not request credentials, and does not store ticket content outside Zendesk. Pasted images are embedded in the note as inline content.

This app is provided by Tarek H. For support or privacy questions, use the support and privacy URLs entered for this listing in the Marketplace developer portal.
