About this app

Kundelab builds Zendesk apps for support teams. Sidebar Search reads the current ticket subject and selected ticket custom field values, then turns those values into quick search suggestions in the sidebar. Agents can click a suggestion or type a query to search tickets, users, and organizations inside Zendesk. The app uses Zendesk ticket data and Zendesk search to show related records. Sidebar Search processes data entirely within your Zendesk environment; no attachments, metadata, or customer data are sent to Kundelab or stored outside Zendesk. How to install

  1. Install the app in the ticket sidebar.

  2. Enter the ticket custom field IDs you want to use in Suggestion field IDs.

  3. Separate multiple IDs with commas, spaces, semicolons, or new lines.

  4. Optional: enable Include subject as a suggestion.

  5. Save the installation.

  6. Open a ticket with values in the configured fields to see clickable suggestions.
