About this app
Extract text from images with our OCR app. We created this app to help support agents find related tickets fast by OCR. Having the text in a private note makes it easier to find similar issues.
It converts screenshots and images into searchable text with one click then places the text inside your ticket as a private note.
Uses optical character recognition (OCR) to help you type up searchable text in tickets quickly. At the moment, we just support images that are in the comments (in-line or attachments). Externally hosted images or PDF files are ignored unless you first paste the image from the PDF file into a private comment.
Data disclosure: Will not sell or disclose the information submitted nor the images. We do not permanently store images submitted for OCR processing or the OCR text output generated from those images. OCR output is returned to the Zendesk ticket and is stored only within the Customer's own system. Full Policy is here https://www.ocrly.biz/new-tosa.htm

How to install
Simply click to add it then go to your manage apps page to install. Go to Admin > Objects and Rules > Tickets > Settings > Uncheck Enable secure downloads. The app will appear in your ticket editor as a small icon and you can select the number of images to see from the drop down menu in the app.
