Data Access, Use, and Storage

To provide this integration, Omnea may access, use, and store Zendesk account connection/configuration data, ticket data synced between Omnea and Zendesk (including ticket IDs, subject, description, comments, status, assignee/group, tags, and timestamps), request/workflow context included in your configured mappings (for example, requester information, internal reference IDs, and vendor/request metadata), and integration/audit logs required for monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and traceability.

Omnea processes this data to create and update Zendesk tickets from Omnea workflows, sync ticket statuses and comments between Omnea and Zendesk, route and assign tickets to configured Zendesk teams/agents, and support the operational reliability, security, and auditability of the integration.

Installation Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Integrations section in your Omnea account settings.
  2. Locate the Zendesk Integration and click Enable.
  3. Authenticate your Zendesk account when prompted.

  4. Configure the following settings:
    • Zendesk subdomain

    • Default ticket assignee or group

    • Tags or priority settings if applicable

  5. Save the configuration.

You can now create and manage Zendesk tickets directly from Omnea workflows.

How to install

  1. Log in to your Omnea account with administrative privileges.

  2. In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Settings, then select the Integrations tab.

  3. Locate the Zendesk Integration from the list of available integrations.

  4. Click Enable to begin setup.

  5. When prompted, add your subdomain and authenticate your Zendesk account by signing in and granting Omnea the necessary permissions.

  6. After authentication, click Save to confirm and activate the integration.

  7. You can now create and manage Zendesk tickets directly from Omnea workflows — tickets will sync automatically, and you'll be able to track and update them within your request details view.
