Link multiple WhatsApp Business numbers to Zendesk Support.

Key features:

  • Connect using the Cloud WhatsApp API or a QR code.

  • Reply to your customers WhatsApp requests within Zendesk.

Note: Only works for WA Business connected via QR code.

Data Handling & Privacy

  • Transfers messages between Whatsapp and Zendesk; no other Zendesk data accessed.

  • Data stored: Whatsapp user identifiers (phone number, name, ID, avatar), messages, and attachments.

  • Retention: messages 30 days, attachments 180 days, (or 1 hour if attachments are stored in Zendesk).

How to install

For legacy QR connection option:1. Admin Center → Channel apps → OAPPS for WhatsApp Support → Accounts tab → [Add account]2. Scan QR code with WA Business app.3. Press Save button.
