Configure Zendesk Support to add a private comment while also typing a public response/comment


The Private Comments app allows an agent to easily add a private comment to a ticket while also typing a public response or comment. The app installs as a sidebar app on the ticket screen.

By enabling this app, you agree to the Built by Zendesk Terms of Use.

Install the Private Comments app and then set up the user settings within the app.

By default, the Private Comments app is restricted to the administrator role. Administrators can modify the settings to allow access to the appropriate groups and roles that need access to Talk recording downloads.
