Watchman Monitoring is a Proactive Support tool for IT Professionals
Once configured, agents can see an issue's current state without leaving the Zendesk agent interface.
Zendesk Integration Setup
These instructions assume you have already set up the Watchman Monitoring/Zendesk integration. For more information on that process, please visit our help center.
Zendesk App Setup
Visit Watchman Monitoring's App in the Zendesk Marketplace, click Install
- Title: Enter a name such as Watchman Monitoring or Plugin Status. This will be the title shown in your Zendesk app sidebar.
- Dashboard URL: enter in the full address of your Watchman Monitoring Dashboard. Example:
- API Key: Find this in the Watchman Monitoring Dashboard, here: Zendesk App Setup.
- Click Show API key, then copy the key.
- Paste the API key in the app's configuration area
- Role and Group restrictions should remain disabled, unless you have a need to limit some agents from using the Watchman Monitoring Zendesk app.
- Finish by clicking Install
