Add tasks to MeisterTask direct from a Zendesk ticket


MeisterTask is a simple yet powerful task management and collaboration tool that perfectly adapts to your team’s workflow and lets you work together more efficiently.

With the integration agents can easily create tasks directly from a Zendesk ticket. Whenever a new ticket shows up in Zendesk, the agent can easily involve his back office team by creating a task in MeisterTask from the Zendesk interface. This ensures a smooth, bi-directional transition from ticket to task. Once the task is completed the tickets get updated in Zendesk and the agent can notify the original requester about the status.

Agents see the status and the latest comments directly in the Zendesk ticket view and can easily navigate to MeisterTask from there.

To enable the integration please do not install the add-on through the Zendesk marketplace. Instead go to your project on MeisterTask and go to the project settings. From there install the Zendesk integration. After entering your Zendesk domain and granting rights to MeisterTask you will be able to select the default section for new incoming tasks.

Once the installation is complete you can go to Zendesk and navigate to a ticket. Make sure you have enabled the apps sidebar to see the MeisterTask widget.
